It was a very hot afternoon in Kuching when I took a bunch of my students to the hard disc manufacture plant in Sama Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak, at Western Digital.
We have great time of knowing a bit more to disc manufacturing process.

Hello may I ask a question?
Elements in a period decreases to the right, right? So when, say, elements in period 4 decreases accross the period, does it decrease until it is smaller than the biggest element in period 3? for example, is Bromine (period 4 group 17) smaller than Sodium (period three group 1)??
My school teacher says no because "all elements in period 4 is bigger than elements in period 3", but my sister who is in college says that bromine is smaller.
